Come to A Taste of Hingham for the unique opportunity to sample an abundance of the best that dozens of the finest food purveyors in Hingham provide AND to then cast a vote for best chowder, for best 'taste of the town', for best accompaniment and for the most delicious ice cream.    Dining in Hingham is a celebration of the senses, with a range of cuisines and experiences.  Try a little of everything!

Main Street in historic Hingham Square is the perfect backdrop for a fun afternoon.  Stroll with family and friends, enjoy live music on two stages,  face-painting, shaped balloons & crafts for kids, and more.  Enter free drawings, sign up for special events, and get to know more about all that Hingham offers.  Ride in a horse-drawn wagon from the corner of Main & South streets through the charming Downtown.  See a short film about the History of the Hingham Shipyard at the Loring (12, 12:30 or 1).  Be sure to visit our vibrant locally-owned shops.
