Atlantic Symphony Orchestra is a professional regional orchestra located on Boston’s South Shore under the artistic leadership of Music Director and Conductor, Jin Kim. Members of the orchestra are Boston-based and consist of both seasoned and gifted young professionals from the world’s leading conservatories. Through ASO’s Partners in Music Education program, the orchestra not only performs regularly at Thayer’s Center for the Arts, but also collaborates with area schools on educational outreach.

Built in 1681, Old Ship Meeting House is the only 17th century Puritan Meeting House still existing in the U.S., and the oldest building in continuous use as a church (Unitarian Universalist). A National Historic Landmark, it is open to the public for tours, cultural events and family celebrations.

Hingham Cemetery is an active cemetery and beautiful arboretum with many lots still available. The Ames Chapel, a fully restored Queen Anne-style building, is available at modest cost to local groups for functions, meetings, receptions and performances.
