The opening of Salty Days Fish Co. will fulfill a longtime dream for Hingham resident Steve Flynn -- who is partnering with his wife, Amy, and two of their best friends to bring a neighborhood retail fish market to the downtown area.
With an online community forum on Wednesday, the town kicked off a public process of evaluating spaces and resources downtown and near the harbor in the hopes of making those areas both more vibrant and more environmentally sustainable.
A familiar store will reopen in downtown Hingham under new ownership after being forced to close due to the pandemic. “We want Chel Bella to feel like a place for all our clients to come home to, especially after life has changed so much over the past few months,” said new owner Lisa Lennon.

The annual Miracle on Main Street Gala not only raises funds for the popular Christmas in the Square celebration but is also a great way to kick off the holiday season while having a great time with other members of the community -- all for a good cause.
