The traditional Fourth of July parade, which attracts thousands of spectators from near and far, will step out as usual from Hingham High School on July 4 at 10 a.m. There is no rain date.
However, the Hingham Lions Club canceled this year’s fireworks due to not enough volunteers to put on the event, which has for years included a family celebration on the beach.
