The Settles Glass development in Hingham square is nearing construction. The development on the corner of North and Station Streets received approval from the Historical Districts Commission for the refined plans Thursday night. The plans will go for final approval from Selectmen at the beginning of April.
The construction fence around the new Lincoln Building in downtown Hingham was removed this week to reveal a nearly complete three story replica of the 1859 original building. Building owner Charlene Flynn said high end boutiques, a gelato shop and her own real estate business TLC Real Estate are in the mix for the five commercial spaces.
